The rest of the schedule isn’t bad, but they have to win three of their last five to go bowling. A trip to Wake Forest is up next with Syracuse and Stanford to follow.
Oregon State’s defense has taken a hit in a two-game losing streak, and now it has some work to do on the road before hosting San Jose State and going to Air Force.
Those are winnable, but life will be far easier with a fifth-win here – the Beavers close with uh-oh dates against Washington State and Boise State.
