Wyoming teenage girl saved by police in second high-speed chase in five days

A teenage girl is safe after a brief high-speed chase with Wyoming police on Thursday. According to local officers, this is the second time in five days that a female victim has been saved by local police within five days. It was reported by the Cowboy State Daily that the girl had been a runaway from the state of Colorado.

According to the outlet, The Cheyenne Police Department in conjunction with the Wyoming Highway Patrol and Laramie County Sheriff’s Office managed to recover the girl who was unharmed. The police also reported to have arrested an 18-year-old male who was operating the vehicle during the chase.

According to the officers, the driver — identified as Ethan Cundiff of Rockport, Indiana — led several units on a chase up and down and attempted to evade several spike traps laid out by authorities and other obstacles. WHP Trooper Jason Simmer later told the outlet that Cundiff had been arrested.
