Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma revealed the surprising reason for his decision to quit wearing his usual bold pregame outfits.
Throughout his basketball career, the NBA player has been popular for his eye-catching tunnel fits. However, the 29-year-old dropped a major announcement and revealed to Vogue that he has decided to retire from wearing head-turning pregame outfits.
According to him, he stepped back from the media craze surrounding tunnel fits, despite having been an “evident person” in it years ago.

“I didn’t want to be a part of that type of community where you had to put on a fit,” he said, adding, “I really took the back seat to all of that.”
The NBA veteran added that he was done impressing people, especially given the pressure athletes had to deal with.
“I could speak from experience that when I was younger, I didn’t want to wear something twice,” Kuzma further stated. “A lot of times we got played into thinking, ‘Oh, we gotta switch it up, we gotta buy something new.’ And now we were buying clothes to impress people or to stand out. It was ridiculous.”
