Brown University Health opens new Center for Advanced Lung Care

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) – There’s new hope for patients with advanced, complex lung conditions. Brown University health, formerly known as Lifespan, has opened a new center. “There are plenty of patients in our region that have lung disease and some of them struggle to get the right diagnosis,” said Christopher Mullin, Director of the Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension Program, (CTEPH) at the Center for Advanced Lung Care at Rhode Island Hospital.”And we’re really keen on not just making that diagnosis but being able to offer advanced procedures and diagnostic tools.”
