In a bid to aid Socorro residents overwhelmed by the red flour beetle infestation, El Paso County has committed $25,000 to provide free pesticides to help protect homes in the area. As reported by El Paso Times, the El Paso County Commissioners Court took this action following three months of complaints from locals about the invasive pests.
