North Texas College Student Found Dead by Friend

According to WFAA , Arlington Police Department responded to a call on the 1000 block of UTA Boulevard after a 22- year old UT Arlington student was discovered unresponsive by a friend Thursday.

Reportedly, the student was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no indication of drug use or foul play, according to the police. Officials from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed her identity as Jolie Rugwiza, according to WFAA.

Police said Rugwiza had preexisting medical issues that could have played a role in her passing; nevertheless, the medical examiner will decide the formal cause of death on Friday morning.
