Bridges
Maj. Rose Bridges passed her mission check ride in the Boeing KC-46 Pegasus on Sept. 20.
She completed her Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training in 2023 at Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi, when her father, Col. Alan Bridges, USAF, retired, pinned on her pilot wings. Col. Bridges is a graduate of Sprayberry High School in Marietta and the Air Force Academy.
Maj. Bridges will move to Travis Air Force Base in California this fall to begin refueling Air Force, Navy and Marine aircraft across the U.S.
Cole
Petty Officer 1st Class Andrew Cole is one of the sailors ensuring the U.S. Navy maintains freedom from the ocean to the stars at Navy Meteorology and Oceanography Command.
Cole currently serves as a yeoman at METOC, headquartered at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. Cole’s mother and stepfather, Heather and Paul Riopel, live in Atlanta.
Cole earned an associate degree in legal studies from American Military University in 2023 and is working toward a bachelor’s degree in financial management. He joined the Navy nine years ago.
