SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Two people were stabbed overnight in the city of Syracuse. The stabbings were two separate incidents and both victims are in stable condition.

The first stabbing happened just after 10 p.m. on Friday. Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 1100 block of North Salina Street for a stabbing call. Officers found a 22-year-old woman who had been stabbed multiple times in her upper body. She was taken to University Hospital and is in stable condition.
The second stabbing occurred Sunday morning at 3:30 on the 200 block of Seymour Street. Officers were called to the scene for a stabbing complaint. When they arrived they found a 31-year-old man who had been stabbed in his arm. The 31-year-old was also taken to University Hospital and was treated for minor injuries.
