COLONIE, N.Y. (WRGB) – A man was arrested Tuesday after Colonie Police said they found him in possession of a loaded handgun that had previously been reported stolen. Patrol officers were reportedly engaged in “hot spot” policing efforts at the Motel 6 at 1600 Central Avenue at approximately 11:10 p.m. Tuesday when they said they observed an occupied vehicle running without license plates or registration attached. According to a release, the officers spoke with the sole occupant of the vehicle, who was identified as Desmond D. Terry.
