ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) – An Albany man was arrested on felony drug possession charges Monday after a narcotics investigation, authorities said. According to a release, at approximately 12:32 p.m. that day, members of the Albany County Sheriff’s Community Oriented Policing Effort were investigating in the area of Broad Street and Schuyler Street in Albany. There, authorities said they found Charles B. McCormick III, 31, in possession of about 5 grams of cocaine, 3 grams of fentanyl, and 1.7 grams of fake M30 oxycodone pills pressed with fentanyl. According to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office, McCormick also had numerous glassine envelopes, used for the individual packaging and sale of narcotics, in his possession.
