FIRST ALERT FORECAST – Massive cooldown just in time for Halloween

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – With a high of 99, Tucson broke its 22nd heat record in the last 32 days. Additionally, we were only a degree shy of breaking the record for the latest triple-digit day. We’ll have to deal with another unseasonably hot day tomorrow in the upper 90s. However, a system will deliver a massive cooldown by Tuesday, with temps plummeting to the 70s. That system could give us some scattered showers Monday night through Tuesday morning, as well as gusty winds Monday & Tuesday. Temps stick around the 70s & low 80s Tuesday through next weekend, as it finally feels like fall for good!
