The Dodgers cruised to a 4-2 victory in Game 2 of the World Series against the Yankees, taking a commanding 2-0 lead.

Tommy Edman started the scoring with a solo homer in the second inning. The Yankees responded with a home run from Juan Soto, but the Dodgers answered with back-to-back homers from Teoscar Hernandez and Freddie Freeman.

Dodgers’ rookie starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto was dominant, pitching 6.1 innings with just one hit allowed. Despite a shaky ninth inning from the bullpen, the Dodgers held on for the win.

The Dodgers head to the Bronx for Game 3 on Monday with a 2-0 lead. Walker Buehler will start for Los Angeles against the Yankees’ Clarke Schmidt.

Meanwhile, Yankees’ star Aaron Judge continues to struggle at the plate, hitting just .150 with two home runs in October.
