CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Saturday’s record-challenging heat is being forced out as a cold front moves into the Lowcountry today! As the cold move across our area, plan for a relatively cooler but seasonable afternoon for most; places closest to the cold front should still be able to climb into the mid to upper 70s, but our northernmost counties could stay into the upper 60s and low 70s as thicker clouds and a slightly better chance of showers prevail.
