KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Knoxville Fire Department is investigating a house fire that happened in the 3000 block of Linden Avenue early Sunday morning. Fire crews responded to a call about the fire around 4:09 a.m. on Sunday. The caller advised seeing smoke, but no flames coming from the house. Upon arrival, crews reported smoke coming from the house and a male injured on the street outside of it. KFD entered the scene to discover a small fire in the kitchen.
