A Sanford man has been taken into custody after a domestic violence incident escalated into violence against a responding police officer. The altercation took place on the evening of last Wednesday, around 9:40 p.m., near Landing Drive, where police encountered a woman who alleged that 18-year-old Brandon Legere had assaulted her multiple times. According to FOX35 Orlando, the suspect is said to have initiated the attack after a confrontation with the victim’s mother, with subsequent aggression resulting in the victim being dragged and beaten from the living room to the bedroom.
