The Chattanooga Police Department celebrated the graduation of five officers from the Southeastern Leadership Academy

Chattanooga, TN – According to the police officials, Lt. Rusty Morrison, Lt. Kyle Moses, Sgt. Joshua May, Sgt. Jeff Miller, and Sgt. Jason Wood successfully completed the program, designed for mid-management personnel in law enforcement.

The academy, coordinated by the University of Tennessee’s Law Enforcement Innovation Center, offered interactive instruction from top professionals in the field.

The five-week curriculum covered essential themes each week, including Foundations of Leadership, Leading Others, Building External Relationships, Employee Matters, and Critical Issues.

Chief Chambers commended the officers, stating, “We are incredibly proud of Lt. Morrison, Lt. Moses, Sgt. May, Sgt. Miller, and Sgt. Wood for their dedication to enhancing their leadership skills.

Their accomplishments will significantly benefit our department and the community we serve.” Several members of CPD leadership have previously attended this prestigious academy, underscoring the department’s commitment to fostering strong leadership.
