Jets vs. Patriots Inactive List: 3 Starters Listed Out For Must-Win Game

At 2-5, the New York Jets’ season hangs in the balance.

Five teams in the last six seasons have found a way to make the playoffs starting the season at the Jets’ current record. None of those teams started 2-6, though.

It’s why makes their Week 9 contest against the New England Patriots in Foxboro, Massachusetts such a must-win showdown. As we get closer to kickoff, both teams have announced their inactive list for Sunday.

Let’s take a look at the full list here.

Jets Inactive List

– RG, Alijah Vera-Tucker

– S, Tony Adams

– S, Ashtyn Davis

– OT, Carter Warren

– WR, Allen Lazard

– DT, Leki Fotu

– RB, Israel Abanikanda

Notes:

– AVT and Adams were just a few of the starters who were listed as inactive for Sunday’s game with injuries. Interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich stated that the team could potentially place any of the starters on the inactive list for Injured Reserve at some point moving forward.

– With Max Mitchell active for the first time this season, there’s an expectation he could be in the running to replace AVT at right guard on Sunday.
