Man hit by car near In-N-Out in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A man is in critical condition after being hit by a car near In-N-Out Sunday night, the Fresno Police Department announced.

Police say around 8 p.m. they responded to Blackstone and Swift Avenues, near In-N-Out, for a report of a pedestrian who had been hit by a vehicle.

Responding officers reported administering CPR to a man in his 30’s before he was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Investigators report the man had walked into the roadway as a vehicle was traveling northbound on Blackstone Avenue and was hit.

Detectives say the driver remained on scene and was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Police believe the pedestrian was at fault in this collision.
