A methamphetamine ring in Walton County has gained attention after a dozen defendants were charged with conspiracy related to drug production and trafficking. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Georgia announced the unsealing of a federal indictment last Wednesday, claiming that large amounts of meth were being produced at a property on 2370 Mountain Creek Church Road in Monroe, Georgia. Authorities searched on August 13, seizing over 4,000 grams of meth in various forms and a significant amount of cash.
