Hello Kitty, the popular anthropomorphic white cat with a red bow, has arrived in El Paso with its new store.
The Hello Kitty store opened Oct. 23 at the Shoppes at Solano , 750 Sunland Park Drive.
The store will feature lots of collectible items and household items, from backpacks and clothing to stationery and cups, cute lunch boxes and knickknacks in their favorite themes.
Before, a Hello Kitty truck came to El Paso periodically to sell merchandise at area malls.
The store is located on the first floor, next to FYE. Mall hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Hello Kitty appearances and Cafe stop
Similar but not the same, a Hello Kitty Cafe Truck West will be at Cielo Vista Mall from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2. It will be parked between JC Penney’s and Macy’s.
The Fountains at Farah will host a Hello Kitty Goes to the Movies Night at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8.
Fans can take pictures with Hello Kitty from 4 to 6 p.m. There will be kids karaoke at 4 p.m. along with Hello Kitty themed vendors.
