EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — Happy Sunday, Borderland. The El Paso region continues to see above normal temperatures, but a cool front on Tuesday will bring us into more seasonal conditions.
The high for Sunday is around 89 degrees. If we hit above that, it could be the latest 90-degree temperature in El Paso since records have been kept. On Monday, winds are expected to pick up in the afternoon, keeping our high around 88 and low around 58. Come Tuesday morning, the cool front will be present along with strong winds that will range from 20-25 mph. The chances for blowing dust are high on this day. Prepare for moments of low visibility.
Things start to settle on Wednesday, and as wind speeds drop so do temperatures. Our high is set to range around 72 degrees with a low of 46. For Thursday, Halloween, we’ll see sunny skies and a high around 75. Overnight, we should drop to around 50.
Friday onwards will have mostly sunny skies with temperature highs staying below 80, with lows in the lower 50s up until Monday.
