Florida State (1-6, 1-7) will look to turn the page following a 36-14 loss to Miami when the Seminoles host North Carolina (1-3, 4-4) on Saturday.
In his opening statement, Florida State head coach Mike Norvell assessed the performance last Saturday and summarized the aim for the week saying, “we have to show improvement and get it done on the field and that’s what I want to see from every member of this program and that’s going to be the expectation.”
Norvell was also asked about planning for 2025 while still have four games remaining. “During the bye week we spent a good portion of time (asking) what are the things we need to do? What are the positions of need,” said Norvell.
“There’s definitely a two-fold thought.”

Florida State’s next opponent, North Carolina, defeated Virginia 41-14 to improve to 4-4 on the season. The Tar Heels are led by FSU alum Mack Brown who has never defeated the Seminoles as head coach.
