Virginia law requires prison transparency as Metropolitan where Diddy is being held is investigated

Virginia prisons transparency is now a law

In April, WRIC reported that, after years of complaints, Virginia passed a new law establishing independent oversight of prison systems. Meanwhile, in New York, the Metropolitan prison where Sean Combs is being held is now being investigated.

Metropolitan is being investigated.

Business Insider reports that several Federal agencies are working on a new initiative “designed to achieve our shared goal of maintaining a safe environment for both our employees and the incarcerated individuals housed at MDC Brooklyn.”

Justice for all?

No details were given, but some Virginians wonder if Diddy’s lawyers may have been involved or if this was an ongoing process. Hopefully, prisoners and employees in prisons in Virginia and New York may soon have better environments.
