FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Six people were injured by gunfire after shots were fired into a large crowd in Fresno on Saturday night, according to the Fresno Police Department.
Officers say they received a report of gunshots heard in the area of Amador and A Streets around 9:19 p.m.
When officers arrived they said they found two people with gunshot wounds, and they were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Investigators say four additional victims with gunshot wounds arrived at the hospital by private vehicle.

Police say all six were treated and were last listed in stable condition, with non-life-threatening injuries. All victims were also described as members of a street gang.
Officers say there was a large crowd when a vehicle drove up and started shooting.
Investigators say the shooting involved a criminal street gang that had been feuding with another gang, and that is what resulted in the shooting. An unoccupied business and a vehicle were also struck.
