GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Twenty-six-year-old Jonathan Tafolla has been sentenced to three years in prison, followed by four years of extended supervision after breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home and abducting her children.
Court records reveal that Tafolla faced charges including child neglect, THC possession (second offense), criminal trespass, and theft under $2,500. Several charges were dismissed as part of the plea deal.

The incident occurred early on April 9, 2024 , when a Brown County Sheriff’s deputy noticed Tafolla’s vehicle attempting to evade police. After a brief chase, Tafolla fled on foot, leaving a child’s car seat and a marijuana odor in his vehicle.
He was later spotted holding one child while another walked beside him. When a spotlight was directed at him, Tafolla placed the child down and ran before being apprehended.
