BUIES CREEK – Maddie Lambers was named CAA Rookie of the Week thanks to her efforts in helping Campbell to a road sweep at Hampton. Lambers tallied 17 kills on .517 hitting for the weekend, committing only two errors on 29 swings. The freshman logged nine kills on Thursday and eight more on Friday, both marks surpassing her previous season-high in kills.
