Clarksville man apprehended following incident at Kentucky elementary school

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Kentucky authorities stated that a Clarksville man was arrested on Monday after an incident at a Christian County, Kentucky elementary school.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office said that 38-year-old Jayvis Hall was arrested with the help of Clarksville Police. Hall was taken into custody in Clarksville due to an incident at South Christian Elementary School.

“[D] and first responders responded to a possible threat around lunchtime,” a press release from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office read, in part. “Although the initial search yielded no threat, investigators continued their probe, leading to Hall’s capture.”

Hall was charged with terroristic threatening, violation of a Kentucky emergency protective order or domestic violence order and falsely reporting an incident.

Montgomery County house ruled ‘total loss’ following fire

Hall will stay in Clarksville until he is extradited to Christian County.
