(WKBN) — Do you crave the traditional Thanksgiving dinner but aren’t looking forward to spending hours in the kitchen? The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is offering alternative dining plans.
Ohio state park lodges across the state will be offering Thanksgiving buffets for those who may not want to cook the full meal — or clean up after it.
Guests are invited to enjoy a meal, relax and bond with loved ones, and enjoy the scenic landscapes and holiday weekend activities at Ohio parks.
Some locations hosting Thanksgiving buffets on Nov. 28 include The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake, Hocking Hills State Park Lodge & Conference Center, and Punderson Manor State Park Lodge & Conference Center, among others.
Prices and menus vary by location but most menus include a salad bar; traditional sides, such as stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, and green beans; and entrees including turkey, baked ham, and a couple of alternative options.
Reservations are required. For a complete list of park locations, costs and menu items, and contact information, click here .
