Peyton Miller, senior, Spanish Springs

Miller finished the 5,000-meter course on Oct. 25 at Rancho San Rafael in 16 minutes, 17 seconds to win the boys Regional cross-country race. He is the first individual cross-country boys champion from Spanish Springs in school history.

Gioia Coudriet, freshman, Galena

Coudriet won the girls Class 5A-North Regional cross-country race on Oct. 25 at Rancho San Rafael Park in Reno in 19 minutes, 13 seconds.

Kiefer Willcox, junior, Truckee

Willcox won the boys Class 3A Regional cross-country race on Oct. 25 at Rancho San in 15:51 to set the course record.

Lyla Landy, junior, South Tahoe

Landy won a close race to win the girls Class 3A-North cross-country title on Oct. 25 at Rancho San Rafael. Landy finished in 19:39.

Pele Masina, senior, Bishop Manogue

Masina rushed 20 times for 176 yards and four touchdowns in the Miners’ 48-24 win over Douglas in football on Oct. 24.

Nishaan Bajwa, senior, Reed

Bajwa completed 24-of-34 passes for 274 yards and three touchdowns in the Raiders’ 31-28 overtime win over Spanish Springs in football on Oct. 25.
