Ole Miss HC Lane Kiffin has a major complaint that Tennessee Vols fans, for once, can’t relate to

Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin had a major complaint on Monday during his weekly press conference.

And it’s a complaint that in past years we’ve seen from Tennessee Vols fans.

Kiffin lamented the fact that Ole Miss won’t have a single night SEC game in Oxford this season.

“I think that’s proven over time (that night home games are an advantage) in the NFL and in college,” said Kiffin. “Playing at night in electric atmospheres is a home field advantage. And [it’s] tough when you gotta do that as an opposing team. So that’s been proven for a long time.”

Kiffin then asked the reporter which team is playing the night game on November 9 (times were announced for the November 9 games during Kiffin’s press conference).

“So who went at night — LSU gets gets to play at night again I guess? Shocker. So that’s two for two for them. It is an advantage. I feel bad for our fans. To not have one night conference game is really unfortunate for them. So, whatever, it’s just really disappointing. But it is what it is.”
