The Point: This regionally significant project provides a new east-west connection between the 15 and 71. With a snip of a ribbon, a new regional connection was unveiled which will provide access between the 15 and 71 in western Riverside County. On October 21, 2024, the City of Eastvale and the community celebrated the opening of the Limonite Gap Closure Project with a ceremonial ribbon cutting – unlocking a direct passage for vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians between Eastvale, Chino, and surrounding communities.
