Fall leaves mean leaf clean up – Here’s what you need to know

The bright orange colors of fall are beginning to fade, and that means fall yard work is on tap.

Whether you use a rake or a leaf blower, you’re still left with the riddle of how to dispose of the mountain of leaves.

2nd annual Grape Trail of Treats takes over Arrowhead Wine Cellars

In the City of Erie, leaf collection began on October 6 and will end on December 5. In the city, folks can use certain compostable bags or open hard containers but cannot mix grass or leaves with their standard garbage.

In Millcreek Township, leaf pickup began on October 21 and will end on December 6. Leaves must be in clear bags sold at the township building and retailers without any grass or branches. Leaves also can’t be mixed with curbside garbage.
