One person hurt after shots fired at a BP gas station in Wisconsin, Sheriff’s Office investigating

PLEASANT SPRINGS, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin say one person is in the hospital following an incident where multiple shots were fired at a BP gas station Saturday afternoon.

According to a release from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office , deputies responded at 4:47 p.m. on October 26 to the BP on 2763 County Highway N in the Town of Pleasant Springs for reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival, officials say one victim appeared to have multiple gunshot wounds and needed life-saving measures before being taken to a local hospital.

Along with the injured victim, deputies found multiple shell casings in the area and are working to identify any possible suspect or suspects.

At this time, no other information is available, there is said to be no threat to the public, and an investigation led by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office into the incident is ongoing.
