My family loves bone-in country style pork ribs but this is a cut of meat that you need to cook low and slow or use the instant pot, which is what I did. I made mine bbq flavored using a seasoning that I needed to use up but you can make these any flavor you enjoy by using this same recipe and adjusting the spices. This recipe makes the ribs so tender they just fall off of the bone. You will need the following ingredients:
Recipe:
1 package of bone-in country style pork ribs
4 tablespoons of dry rub
1 cup of BBQ sauce
salt and pepper to taste (if it is not included in the rub)
8 oz of apple juice
Place the apple juice, country style ribs and the dry rub or whatever seasoning you are using, in the instant pot and turn it to manual and cook on high pressure for 50 minutes. Carefully release the pressure or leave them on the keep warm setting until you are ready to serve them.
Remove the ribs from the instant pot and add the bbq sauce to the ribs and serve. Tip: You can place the ribs under the broiler at this point to give them a charred look and taste if you wish to. Enjoy!
