A homeless woman was busted after allegedly assaulting both a father walking with his young daughter and an elderly man in back-to-back unprovoked attacks in Manhattan – then was cut loose in court Tuesday, authorities said.
Benjamin Bulman, 32, who identifies as a woman and goes by Erica Quartz, was arrested Monday shortly after the pair of assaults carried out a minute apart in Greenwich Village.
In the first incident, Bulman allegedly slugged a 46-year-old man in the face as he was walking with his 4-year-old daughter on Fifth Avenue near West 13th Street at around 8:52 a.m., police said.
Just moments later the homeless suspect set her sights on a 72-year-old man, punching him in the back of the head as he walked his dog on the northwest corner of the same street, cops said.
