LARGO, Fla. (WFLA) — The Pinellas County School Board announced it has approved changes to the school calendar in an attempt to catch students up on missed time due to hurricanes Helene and Milton.
The School Board added Tuesday, Jan. 6, and Friday, Feb. 17 as hurricane make-up days and changed May 29 to a full day.
It was previously an early-release day.
Additionally, first-semester exams have been waived to add four additional instructional days.
