Man shot while fighting off attempted carjackers in Prince George’s County

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. – Lockdowns at two schools in Prince George’s County have been lifted two and half hours after a man was shot nearby during an attempted carjacking. Around 9:38 a.m. Tuesday, Prince George’s County responded to an AutoZone Auto Parts at 7057 Allentown Road. They initially believed the shooting was an attempted robbery at the AutoZone, but police said they found that it was an attempted carjacking in the parking lot.
