SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – As spooky as the city can be, the Savannah Police Department (SPD) is working to ensure families stay safe as they celebrate Halloween.
SPD recommends trick-or-treating between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. on Thursday, as officers will be visiting neighborhoods during those hours.
The department added that they’ll be patrolling heavily traveled neighborhoods throughout the evening and weekend.
