NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Another nice day, but more clouds and a bit of shower activity around this Tuesday. Moisture increasing across the area as breezy conditions continue to build dew points across southeast Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The higher moisture content will help fuel early morning fog in some areas as well as afternoon showers. Look for temperatures in the low to middle 60s for the overnight and highs in the middle 80s a bit above long term averages in the middle 70s. Wednesday we will increase rain chances a bit more, but Thursday which is also Halloween will see the highest chance for rain as we continue to see moisture flowing in ahead of an approaching cold front. The front does not appear to push all the way through the region, but will help trigger some more widespread activity.
