MADISON – Frank Carlos Lopez Rosario, age 53, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024, surrounded by family and friends after a long and courageous battle. He was born on September 21, 1971, in Rio Piedras (Hato Rey), Puerto Rico, to Frank Lopez Soto and Lydia Esther Rosario Rivera. Frank Carlos grew up with his beloved sister, Glorily Alexandra Lopez Rosario, and attended school in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
In 1992, Frank Carlos moved to Miami, Florida, to be close to his cherished uncle, Leo Soto Rivera. He loved listening to music, playing basketball, dining out, and watching football and baseball. Above all, Frank Carlos had a big heart and a passion for celebrating birthdays, daily events, and spending time with his family and friends in Miami, Puerto Rico, and Wisconsin. He was known for his storytelling and the special twinkle in his eyes when he found something particularly humorous.
Frank Carlos is survived by his mother, Lydia Esther Rosario Rivera; his sister, Glorily Alexandra Lopez Rosario of Fitchburg, Wisconsin; his uncles and aunts, Roberto Rosario Rivera, Rafael Rosario Rivera, Carmen Iris Rosario Rivera, Carlos Gonzales Rivera, Glenda Lopez Soto, and Edith Margarita Lopez Soto; and many loving cousins, relatives, and friends.
