Graham: Governor’s office in need of ‘house cleaning’

Dave Graham of Smyrna was a candidate in the 2000 Republican primary for governor of Delaware. In 2014, he was the Independent Party of Delaware candidate for state attorney general in the general election.

After 32 years of Democratic administration, since 1992, Delaware desperately needs a political house cleaning.

If concerned Delaware residents want to break free of Democratic, one-party rule and move forward, leadership at the top must change.

Our greatest hope is to elect Republican Mike Ramone, a state representative from Newark, as our next governor. He is qualified to boldly lead our state in this 21st century.

None of our citizens should be pleased with Delaware’s failing public school systems, our out-of-control state budget or our ever-increasing taxes in the foreseeable future.

Does anyone truly believe that continuing to elect Democratic governors will change the current trajectory of our failing state government?

A closer examination of Republican Mike Ramone’s résumé is certainly warranted to confirm the likelihood of his success after he’s elected the new governor of Delaware.
