CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after a body was discovered Wednesday morning at the entrance of Tongue Pond, just off the bike path near Garfield Avenue.
Cranston Police Major Todd Patalano said the man’s body was not likely there for long.
Police are now working with the medical examiner’s officer to determine the cause of death.
The preliminary findings suggest it may have been a sudden death, according to Patalano.
