We’ll be treated with rain this Halloween

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Heading into Halloween, everyone is forecast to see treats and very little tricks. Of course, the kids will get candy as their treat and for the rest of us, we will finally receive beneficial rain.

Though the rain will be nice to see it will not be enough to improve the drought conditions we are seeing.

For all the ghosts, goblins, and ghouls heading trick-or-treating make sure to go through the checklist before leaving!

Not everyone will see rain for trick-or-treating but have an umbrella or poncho if you’re heading out in the Shoals area. Rain will move west to east through Thursday evening. It’s always important to have something reflective or have a flashlight once the sun goes down.

Muscle Shoals will have the best chance of rain when kids are out trick-or-treating. Temperatures will range from the low to mid-70s. Other cities like Red Bay, Colbert Heights and Russellville will also have a greater chance of seeing rain. The farther east you live, the lower the rain chance will be at the time you head out to trick-or-treat. Thunder will also be possible.
