EAST BOSTON, Mass. (WWLP) – A woman from East Boston has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Bonus Loot” instant ticket game.
Lottery sales down noticeably over first quarter
The lucky winner opted for the cash payout, receiving a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes.
Her winning ticket was purchased at Newtown Food Market, located at 87 Medford St. in Charlestown. In recognition of the sale, the store will receive a $10,000 bonus.
