Loved ones of father of 4 shot in Charlotte park still hoping for arrest

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Loved ones are still hopeful a suspect will be identified and arrested after a father of four was shot and killed in a Charlotte park in late July. The incident happened shortly before 8 p.m. on Friday, July 26 at Progress Park off Parkwood Avenue in Charlotte’s Villa Heights community. Brian Johnson, 38, of Charlotte, was hit by a bullet during the drive-by shooting.
