Lake Oswego city manager elected president of statewide organization

Martha Bennett, the Lake Oswego city manager since 2019, was recently elected president of the Oregon City/County Management Association.

The organization consists of city and county managers, chief administrators and other government officials. It facilitates the sharing of information and ideas between these officials while also providing personal and professional development.

“The Oregon City/County Management Association is the key professional organization for local government managers in Oregon. The association provides vital professional development and training, networking opportunities, ethical standards and support for our members,” Bennett wrote via email. “OCCMA has been a key resource for me in my career, and it’s an honor to get to serve my peers and our profession as President in 2025.”
