After a successful trial run at its Pasadena test kitchen, Panda Express has launched its new Spicy Wagyu Beef Dumplings in select Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area locations. Officially available since Wednesday, the dumplings mark the chain’s first menu item featuring Wagyu beef.
Tossed with kale and onions, the dumplings are coated in a savory sauce crafted by Fly By Jing, inspired by Chengdu’s popular Zhong dumplings. The sauce combines aromatic soy sauce, brown sugar, mushrooms, garlic, and a blend of spices, creating a sweet and spicy profile.
This latest addition highlights Panda Express’s focus on bringing creative and approachable flavors to fans nationwide. Besides California, the Spicy Wagyu Beef Dumplings are also available in select restaurants in Washington, Colorado, Texas, and New York for a limited time.
