SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) – Happy Thursday, Utah! It’s a cold start to the day with most areas kicking off the morning in the 30s!
A weak front will graze the area Thursday, bringing a slight chance of rain and snow, mostly north of I-80. Folks heading out to trick-or-treat Thursday evening should plan on breezy winds in northern Utah with temperatures rebounding close to seasonal averages.
Bottom Line?! Warmer temps for Halloween, but cooler and wetter weather returns this weekend.
Thursday afternoon, the Wasatch Front will see highs in the mid-50s, with partly cloudy skies. In southern Utah, St. George will see highs in the mid-60s.
Looking ahead, cooler-than-average weather with two rounds of possible rain and snow is forecast from Saturday into Sunday and late Tuesday into mid-next week. Temperatures will stay about 10 degrees below normal, with active weather continuing through the extended period. Stay tuned.
