TYSONS, Va. ( DC News Now ) — An unusual sight led to a more surprising — and now viral — video in Fairfax County. It shows a Tesla Cybertruck and a Lamborghini racing down Leesburg Pike during daylight hours.
The video received a plethora of reactions. Elon Musk posted on X commenting on the video, which received over 100 million views.
“I thought it was pretty cool, at least the cars are beautiful,” said Jean De Montebello.
However, some were concerned about the potential dangers of street racing along the busy corridor.

“Many people that own these exotic vehicles are starting to treat Route 7 like their personal driveway,” one 15-year resident of Tysons Corner told DC News Now. “This is not an appropriate place to do it, particularly since we’re trying to build Tyson’s Corner as a walkable community. It’s only a matter of time before somebody gets hit or killed, which will be a horrible event.”
Fairfax County police told DC News Now they are investigating the incident captured on video.
