Police track shooting suspect wanted in 2 states to West Knoxville rental property

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Knoxville police arrested a suspect who was wanted in two states after they tracked him to a rental property near Bearden Monday night. Over the weekend, Knoxville police said they received information Abdul Khalil’Llah, 26, of Anniston, Alabama, was in the Knoxville area. Police learned he was wanted out of Georgia for failing to appear in court on a previous felon in possession of a weapon charge. He was also wanted out of Alabama in connection to a shooting, police said.
